Month six = complete!

Sorry, no picture tonight, we've been out of town! But I wanted to make sure to do an end-of-the-month check in!

My total bike miles ridden in June were 15.84 miles. (Another low month, but rain and out of town trips will do that!) My total miles-to-date are 134.13 miles ridden in 2013!

The calm after the storm...

I feel like I'm letting myself and you guys down by not riding my bike anywhere near the amount I had wanted to since the weather warmed up. We've had a lot more standing water so the bugs have been insane, including biting fly swarms. My husband just finished up a 2 week round of antibiotics for a Lyme bullseye bite and I just don't want to risk it. It's funny because all winter and spring when I bundled up in layers and shivering I couldn't wait for the warm weather! I totally forgot about the bug aspect of dusk!

Andrea's fury could be felt at our little beach today! The water, normally a few feet below the dock, was splashing up through the boards as the waves rolled in below. There's some minor flooding and lots of really strong winds, but still a beauty with those clouds and a bit of color!
