Outer Banks Sunsets is a two part project, started on January 1, 2013.

Part one is to help me channel my creative side by sharing beautiful sunset photos with you. All of the photos are taken less than a mile from my home, looking out at the Albemarle Sound along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Too often I take this beauty, literally right in my back yard, for granted and I'm hoping this project will change my mindset.

Part two was a sneaky attempt at tricking myself into a daily form of exercise. Weather permitting, I pledged to ride my bike to take 2013's daily sunset photos.

My 2013 year-end totals were 297 sunsets captured and shared with you and 240.69 bike miles ridden!

All photos are unedited, and taken with a Canon Powershot SD790 IS.
All photos on this blog are © Christina Cison/Outer Banks Sunsets unless otherwise specified. They are not permitted for re-use or distribution without advance written permission.

Thank you for stopping by and looking at my photos. I hope you will check back the entire year and watch nature's beauty in all four seasons with me!
